The form below is a builder for SQL SELECT queries on the ZTF database of objects.
If you are logged in to Lasair, you can name and save your query,
share it with others, run it in real-time as alerts come in, and have results kept for you or pushed to you.
First you pick the tables to be joined for your query. The "objects" table is mandatory.
objects: Each astrophysical object consists of a series
of candidates (aka detections) forming a light curve. The light-curve is characterised by computed
features that you can use in your selection.
sherlock_classifications: Sky context information about each object derived from
the results of the Sherlock spatial cross-match service.
crossmatch_tns: For those objects also in the
Transient Name Server,
these attributes can be searched. For example 'WHERE crossmatch_tns.type = "SN Ia"'.
watchlists: Select one of the watchlists available to you to restrict searching to
ZTF objects cross-matched with the watchlist.
areas: Select one of the areas available to you to restrict searching to
ZTF objects within the area.
annotators: Select one of the external annotators available to you to restrict searching to
ZTF objects annotated by that.
