Prediction: Supernova

The transient is possibly associated with SDSS J123357.96+531420.6; an r=18.60 mag galaxy found in the SDSS/PS1 catalogues. Its located 0.75" N, 1.86" W (4.7 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host z=0.146 implies a m - M = 39.20.
