The transient is possibly associated with SDSSJ153053.83%2B285342.2; an r=17.91 mag galaxy found in the NED/SDSS/PS1 catalogues. Its located 6.26" N, 6.03" W (20.3 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host z=0.133 implies a m - M = 38.97.
