Prediction: Supernova

The transient is possibly associated with GALEXASCJ002041.66%2B251341.1; an r=18.35 mag galaxy found in the NED/PS1 catalogues. Its located 5.75" N, 2.60" E (4.5 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host z=0.036 implies a m - M = 35.98.
