The transient is possibly associated with SDSS J112424.08-022616.8; a J=15.08 mag galaxy found in the SDSS/2MASS/PS1 catalogues. Its located 0.88" N, 3.97" W (8.3 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host z=0.121 implies a m - M = 38.75.
