Sherlock Contextual Classification

Prediction: Supernova

The transient is possibly associated with SDSS J161034+100225.3; a J=11.17 mag galaxy found in the SDSS/2MASS/LASR catalogues. Its located 0.42" N, 7.47" E (2.4 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host z=0.016 implies a m - M = 34.18.
