The transient is possibly associated with 2MASXJ22304424-0051207; a J=13.96 mag galaxy found in the NED_D/SDSS/2MASS/PS1 catalogues. It's located 2.84 arcsec N, 7.93 arcsec E (15.4 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 393.0 Mpc(z=0.089) implies a m - M = 37.97.
