The transient is possibly associated with 2MASXJ12182433%2B2753291; a J=15.17 mag galaxy found in the NED/SDSS/2MASS/PS1 catalogues. It's located 1.98 arcsec S, 3.58 arcsec E (7.2 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host z=0.103 implies a m - M = 38.38.
