Prediction: Supernova

The transient is possibly associated with CGCG018-036; a J=13.06 mag galaxy found in the NED/SDSS/2MASS/PS1 catalogues. It's located 4.78 arcsec S, 5.54 arcsec E (6.2 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host z=0.043 implies a m - M = 36.39.
