The transient was discovered on 21st November 2018 at 08:58:33 (MJD 58443.37) by ZTF as ZTF18acqwdla with a discovery magnitude of r = 18.35. It was subsequently classified as a SN II at z = 0.028.

Prediction: Supernova

The transient is possibly associated with SDSS J070553.39+125336.8; an r=19.09 mag galaxy found in the SDSS/PS1 catalogues. It's located 2.18 arcsec S, 0.53 arcsec E from the galaxy centre.
