Prediction: Supernova

The transient is possibly associated with UGC12056; an r=15.41 mag galaxy found in the NED_D/SDSS/PS1 catalogues. It's located 41.00 arcsec N, 2.94 arcsec E (15.1 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 76.0 Mpc(z=0.025) implies a m - M = 34.40.
