The transient is synonymous with NGC5548; a G=14.30 mag galaxy found in the NED_D/SDSS/MILLIQUAS/GAIA/LASR/PS1/VERON catalogues. Its located 0.3" (0.1 Kpc) from the galaxy core. A host distance of 92.5 Mpc(z=0.017) implies a m - M = 34.83.
